About Me

Mrs. C.
North Carolina
WELCOME to our blog! My name is Mrs. Cauthen, and I am so excited to be NCA’s Computer Teacher this year! I have so many great things planned to help each student move forward in his or her Computer skills. The computer is a powerful tool that can enrich and challenge, giving your child opportunities to excel in this digital world. We will be working with many different applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing and other award winning educational software. We will also be exploring the World Wide Web for various websites to enhance what we are learning in the regular classroom, giving us a hands on view of what we previously only saw on the textbook page. We will also be experimenting and completing projects using our two digital cameras and our brand new flip video camera! Keep checking in for updates on what the "Crew" and I are working on and what we’re learning this year!
